Welcome to Season 1 of the Patriotic Coffee Championships! I recently discovered that there are a number of coffee companies that actually are very pro-America. I decided to create a championship for these patriotic coffee companies and pit their flavors against one another to see which ones I like the best. Patriotic Coffee Championship: Season 1, Game 1
In this matchup, I have the Blackout Coffee Co. 2A Guns & Gadgets Medium Roast VS the Blackout Coffee Co. 1776 Dark Roast. Both of these brews are part of the Blackout Coffee Co. Ambassador Roasts and both of them also support the Guns & Gadgets YouTube channel. I pitted these two flavors against one another in a blind taste test. I first tasted each flavor without creamer and chose a winner. Then I tasted them with creamer and chose a winner again. Finally, I chose the overall winner. The winner moves on to face another competitor in our Patriotic Coffee Championship brackets.

Patriotic Coffee Championship: Winner – Blackout Coffee Co. 1776 Dark Roast
The Blackout Coffee Co. 1776 Dark Roast beat the 2A Guns & Gadgets Medium Roast in this head to head matchup. I preferred the 1776 Dark Roast both with and without creamer. I enjoyed both coffee flavors, but the Blackout Coffee Co. 1776 Dark Roast is the one that came out on top.
